Blast into Mardi Gras Festival season with ThunderBird - a launch night
party and fundraiser! Get together with friends - gay, lesbian,
straight, queer, bi, whatever and celebrate. For Mardi Gras, BigCatz
Mewzic bring you an awesome line-up of top DJ's and performers from
different communities and a magical mix of people to party together -
epitomising a spirit of partnership and collaboration. This is an
opportunity to experience alternative music options and a wonderfully
diverse and eclectic crowd. ThunderBird proudly supports the Gay &
Lesbian Counselling Service, Ankali Project & National Breast
Cancer Foundation.
Two rooms of pumping music - House, Funk n Breaks upstairs; Dirty
ElectroTech downstairs - brilliant lighting and a fantastic
venue. Doors open early at 9pm...come after the Mardi Gras Festival
Launch for discount cocktails and $5 local beer, house wine and spirits
before 11pm.
